Stratford Continuing Education presented Marshfield Area Pet Shelter (MAPS) with a check for $800 this week after a successful yoga class fundraiser in late December.
This was the second year for the fundraiser. Space was provided by Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and two instructors donated their time. The two sessions offered Dec. 28 raised $700 with an additional $100 from Stratford Continuing Education.
Afterthe first year raised over $600 for MAPS, morning yoga attendees requested another benefit yoga event be scheduled after the fall programming ended in early December. A minimum $10 donation was suggested per class and almost forty attended.
