Stratford boys basketball topples Prentice, improves to 4-0

PRENTICE – The Stratford boys basketball team remains perfect on the young season as it secured a 59-39 win at Prentice in a Marawood Conference crossover game Thursday night.

Ben Barten had 21 points and nine rebounds to lead the way for the Tigers, who improve to 4-0 overall and in the Marawood Conference South Division.

Vaughn Breit added 11 points and five rebounds for Stratford.

The Tigers had eight different players score in the win.

Stratford returns to action Tuesday at home against Wausau Newman Catholic.
