A special meeting of the Common Council will take place on Thursday, January 31 at 7 p.m. at Council Chambers at 207 West 6th Street.
There will be two agenda items under discussion. In open session, the Council will review “issues related to accounting/financial practices and reporting procedures.” Finance Director Ron Aumann will present the item and action will be at the discretion of the Council.
Under closed session, the Council will be updated on a possible sale of City Hall Plaza (former City Hall). The Council previously went into closed session at its regular Jan. 22 meeting to discuss the offer to purchase City Hall Plaza and a possible lease of space.
