Plane makes emergency landing in Wisconsin, pilot injured

SCOTT, Wis. (AP) — Authorities say the pilot of a small plane was injured after making an emergency landing in northeast Wisconsin.

The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office says it happened at about 3:30 p.m. Friday in the town of Scott. Authorities say the pilot called 911 when his 1959 Piper Cub lost power and had to make an emergency landing.

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating.

The name of the pilot and the extent of his injuries were not released.
