Indianapolis, IN (OnFocus) – A picture is worth a thousand words is applicable in many aspects of our lives.

Prior to Monday night’s NCAA College Basketball Championship Game between Gonzaga University and Baylor University, a far more impactful memory occurred. Not a picture, something far more significant.

The performance of the Star Spangled Banner by a group that included members of our nation’s military was a more than a musical masterpiece, it was arguably the finest performance of  our national anthem on a national stage.

We’re talking about something pretty special, here.

The Braintrust has been fortunate to have performed the anthem at multiple area high schools and the Rapids Rafters, and always with pride and reverence.  Often moved to tears while performing the anthem and producing tears nearly every time the Braintrust witnesses the anthem, Monday’s performance was something far more special.

Legendary. Spine tingling. Exemplary.

Hats off to these Indiana Hoosier Heroes. Well done!
