Festival Foods Partners with Nonprofits to Boost Donations

Marshfield Festival Foods’ Chooses NonProfit for Donations

OnFocus – Festival Foods is committed to supporting the communities it serves, and one way is by offering shoppers an easy way to donate right at the checkout. In 2017, these giving opportunities – called “icon” campaigns – raised more than $278,000 for nonprofit community organizations throughout Wisconsin.

Each year, nonprofit organizations can apply through the Festival Foods website to hold a 15-day icon sale. After all submissions are in, associates at each Festival Foods location vote on the nonprofits they want to support.

The votes are in for 2018, and the following icons will be promoted in Festival Foods stores
throughout the state this year:

  • In the Southern Wisconsin Region (Kenosha, Mount Pleasant and Somers):
    Muscular Dystrophy Association, Salvation Army, Special Olympics and St. Jude’s
    Children’s Research Hospital
  • In the Manitowoc and Sheboygan Region: Muscular Dystrophy Association, Salvation
    Army, Winter Miracle Splash and Make-A-Wish Foundation
  • In the Oshkosh and Fond du Lac Region: Muscular Dystrophy Association, Special
    Olympics, Salvation Army, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and United Way
  • In the Fox Cities Region (Appleton, Menasha and Neenah): Muscular Dystrophy
    Association, Special Olympics, Salvation Army and Big Brothers Big Sisters
  • In the Green Bay Region (Green Bay, De Pere and Suamico): Muscular Dystrophy
    Association, Brown County Crime Prevention, Midwest Athletes Against Childhood
    Cancer Inc. (MACC Fund), Salvation Army and Green Bay Animal Rescue
  • In the Marshfield Region: Muscular Dystrophy Association, Special Olympics,
    Salvation Army and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital
  • In the Eau Claire Region: Muscular Dystrophy Association, Special Olympics,
    Salvation Army and Make-A-Wish Foundation
  • In the La Crosse Region (La Crosse, Onalaska, Holmen and Tomah): Seeds Of
    Hope (Hunger Task Force), Steppin’ Out in Pink Gundersen Lutheran Foundation,
    Salvation Army and Freedom Honor Flight
  • In the Madison Region (Madison, Janesville, Fort Atkinson and Paddock Lake):
    Muscular Dystrophy Association, Special Olympics, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Family
    Service of Madison and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital
  • In the Wisconsin Dells Region (Baraboo and Portage): Special Olympics, Salvation
    Army, Alzheimer’s Association and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital
