OnFocus – Festival Foods is running a brat barn this Thursday, June 10, to raise funds for Marshfield Area United Way. All proceeds go to support the United Way and their partner agencies here in Marshfield and the surrounding area.

“Our team here at Festival is proud to partner with the United Way through our payroll giving program, and also with events like this brat stand,” said Store Director Marty Chy. “Everyone here has a friend, neighbor, relative or classmate who has been positively impacted in some way through a program supported by the United Way. It is a great opportunity to have an impact in the community that means so much to all of us. Working together, we do make a difference.”

Extra-curricular school groups, youth sports, charities, and other nonprofit organizations work with Festival Foods to setup their operation and raise funds.

“We are able to give these groups a chance to raise the money for their cause,” said Joe Neville, Bakery Manager. “Our guests and employees love to be able to help these groups raise the money and support them.”

The grocery store provides the gas grill, soda receptacle, roasters, paper hats, plastic gloves, garbage bags, probe thermometer, wax paper – even a portable hand washing station. All of the Oktoberfest brats, hamburgers, hot dogs, condiments, beverages, and homemade brat buns come from right inside the store.

From there, groups fire up the grill and get cooking. All profits go directly to the organization.

The Festival Foods Brat Stand allows nonprofit organizations to raise money, get more exposure and connect over Wisconsin’s favorite foods! Food will be available from 10am-6pm at the 1613 N Central Ave location.
