Appointments Presented to Council for Approval
Marshfield Communicates OnFocus: Mayor Bob McManus presented for approval his citizen appointments to the various committees at Tuesday’s meeting.
The appointments were first presented to the council for review at their organizational meeting on April 17th. Council member appointments were approved at that meeting including the members of the three council-only committees, Finance Budget and Personnel, Public Works, and Judiciary and License.
Citizens appointment lengths vary based on the committee but usually run 3-5 years.
The council also approved the appointment of Steven Okonek to the Zoning Board of Review to fill a vacant post that expires in 2020.
